Inventory Planner

Key Responsibilities

– Inventory Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate inventory forecasts to meet customer demand while avoiding overstock and understock situations.

– Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels regularly and work with the supply chain team to replenish inventory in a timely manner to support sales channels.

– Sales & Trend Analysis: Analyze historical sales data, current market trends, and seasonal demand to inform inventory planning and product allocation.

– Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product delivery, timely restocking, and efficient inventory management.

– Product Allocation: Allocate inventory based on demand and sales patterns, ensuring optimal stock distribution across stores and e-commerce platforms.

– Inventory Turnover Optimization: Manage inventory turnover rates to ensure that products move efficiently through the supply chain without excess holding costs.

– Reporting & Data Analysis: Provide regular reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and sales trends to management, highlighting any risks or opportunities.

– Stock Audits: Collaborate with the inventory team to conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate inventory records.

– Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of inventory planning.

Qualifications

– Proven experience as an Inventory Planner, Supply Chain Planner, or in a similar role, preferably within the fashion or luxury industry.

– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

– Knowledge of inventory management systems (experience with ERP systems is a plus).

– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

– Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

– A keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to forecasting demand and managing stock levels.
